Not everyone would do it. Not because they can’t, but because exposing yourself without results is uncomfortable.

We all speculate about the future, but no one has certainty
A few days ago, I started a personal challenge: to bring 100 people to use Deeditt actively within 4 months. It’s not a traditional marketing campaign. No ads, no automation. Just a manual, honest, handmade effort.
Since I began, I’ve received all kinds of feedback. Some see the idea as powerful, others think it has no future, some find it interesting, others boring.
And in truth, they’re all right.
Because no one knows what will happen. Not me, not them. No one has certainty, we can only act from conviction, not from guarantees.
The important part isn’t just building, but showing what building takes
The challenge isn’t only technical. It’s emotional, logistical, human.
- I have to find people, write to them, talk to them.
- I need to keep the apps running smoothly without errors.
- I must write daily posts, share progress, and respond to messages.
- I check the metrics, but try not to obsess over them.
- And at the same time, I need to be present at home, hold a part-time job, and take care of my mental health.
All of this has an invisible cost that many don’t see, and sharing it is also part of the mission.
Failing in private is easy. Failing in public is a gift
Sharing the process publicly doesn’t guarantee success but it does leave traces.
And those traces may help others:
- To avoid your mistakes.
- To better understand the journey.
- To find the courage to start their own.
Showing the attempt, even if it doesn’t end as expected, is also an act of generosity, because you’re sharing not just what you know, but what you learn along the way.
The same philosophy that brought us here
Deeditt wasn’t born to go viral. It was born to create a space where writing has meaning beyond ego or superficial validation.
A space where we can say: “This happened to me, this is what I felt, this is what I learned.”
This challenge is a living way to prove that this philosophy can be lived, not just coded.
So if you’re building something, trying something, doubting something… don’t wait until the end to share it.
Because often, the real value isn’t in the result. It’s in the attempt shared.
